NIST College was established in 2012 in Nayabasti, Banepa–9, as an extension of the NIST National School of Sciences, Kathmandu.
Over the past decade, it has grown from humble beginnings with only a few students and faculty members into a premier academic institution in the region.
The college is situated in a serene and peaceful environment on Nala Road, just 1.5 kilometers north of Banepa’s city center. Its convenient location allows students to receive quality higher education within the region, eliminating the need to travel to the crowded, noisy, and relatively expensive capital city.
Since its inception, NIST College has consistently emphasized academic excellence. The institution has produced many successful graduates who have gone on to build distinguished careers in professional fields and entrepreneurship, both within Nepal and internationally. Through years of dedicated academic service, the college has established a strong reputation for providing high-quality education at an affordable cost.
